Is Lawport UK an SRA-regulated law firm?
No. Lawport UK is a commercial legal consultancy focused on non-reserved legal services and practical business support. We do not present ourselves as a solicitors' practice and do not conduct reserved legal activities unless separately arranged through an appropriately authorised professional.
What is included in a fixed-price service?
The service page explains the starting scope. Before work begins, we confirm what information or documents we need, what we will review, what you will receive and the fixed price. If the matter falls outside that scope, we explain this before carrying out additional work.
Can you help before a dispute becomes formal?
Yes. We can review the background, identify the main risks, explain practical options and recommend next steps. Where appropriate, we can also draft a written response or help you prepare for a commercial discussion before the matter escalates.
What happens after I request a service?
We review your enquiry and contact you to confirm the issue, urgency and most suitable service. Once the scope, price and required information are agreed, we begin the work and keep the communication focused on the outcome you need.
What if I need court representation or regulated legal work?
We will tell you clearly if the matter requires an SRA-regulated solicitor, barrister or another authorised provider. Where appropriate, we can help you identify the right provider and organise the information needed for a smooth handover.
